Cinematic brand films, built around a feeling.
Brand commercials, restaurant and hospitality films, and cinematic aerial work. Based in the Pacific Northwest, traveling for the right project. Hover to preview, click any film to watch with sound.
A cinematic mountain adventure built around real backcountry locations and a working dog who actually uses the gear. Single talent: Joey, the working border collie behind @superdogjoey. Hybrid camera rig with cinema on the ground and cinematic FPV in the air, directed, shot, and cut end-to-end. Brief to delivery in roughly one month.

When Jo took over Black Forest, she gave me complete creative freedom on the commercial. No shot list, no storyboard, just "make it feel like us." So I built the spot around fire, texture, and atmosphere. The sear of the grill, the warmth of the room, the small details that make a restaurant feel like somewhere you actually want to sit down and stay a while. From there the role grew. I now run their reels and content strategy as well, directing and editing the social work that keeps the brand alive between commercials.
A brand film isn't about the product.
It's about the feeling the product belongs inside.
I direct, shoot, and cut cinematic brand work from concept through final delivery. Cinema cameras on the ground, aerial and FPV in the air, real locations, real talent. National outdoor brands one month, the steakhouse down the street the next. Same eye, same care, whether the film lives on a brand's official channel or on a restaurant's Instagram. One filmmaker carrying every project from first call to the finished cut.
One filmmaker carrying a project from brief through final delivery. Direction, cinematography, editing, color, and sound. Built for outdoor brands, hospitality, and lifestyle clients who want a single point of contact for the work and a single eye behind every frame.
Cinematic spots and brand films, concept through final cut. Single talent, real locations, the right format for the story. 30 seconds, 60, 90, or longer.
Ongoing reels and short-form content as a service. Vertical native, shot on location, posted as the brand's own voice. The same eye behind the commercial, every week. Currently running social for Black Forest Steak House in Blaine, WA.
Founder stories, brand documentary, and narrative short-form work. Real people, real stakes, built around a story worth telling.
Cinema cameras on the ground, FPV and aerial drones in the air. A hybrid rig used when the story calls for it, not because the spec sheet wants it.
Editorial portrait and lifestyle photography. A parallel craft to the motion work, available standalone or alongside film deliverables.
Cinematic wedding films, by inquiry. Still booking select dates for couples who want the same intentionality the commercial work gets.
Portrait, landscape, and working dogs, composed with the same intention as a key film still. The stills feed the motion work and vice versa.

I'm a director, cinematographer, and editor based in the Pacific Northwest, building brand films for outdoor brands, restaurants, and lifestyle clients. I work one-to-one with brands from first brief through final color and sound, carrying a project end-to-end so the finished film stays coherent with what we set out to make.
The work is shaped by a hybrid rig: cinema cameras and high-end glass on the ground, FPV and aerial drones when the story calls for them, and a preference for real locations, real talent, and real conditions. Recent work has taken me through Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and the PNW for a single brand piece, and into kitchens and dining rooms closer to home.

From OneTigris, after delivery of the Mammoth Dog Pack commercial.
We genuinely really loved the video. The overall feel is very cinematic and elevated, and the variety of shots keeps it visually engaging all the way through. It feels natural, but still very intentional and immersive, which is honestly not easy to balance.
Published as an Instagram collab post on OneTigris's official channel. A second 60-second companion piece is currently in production as part of the same engagement.
